Human Resources
Group Human Resources provides the leaders we need both now and in the future. By joining our team, you will gain a wider understanding of our business and how the people strategy supports our growth.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to this through a broad range of roles ranging from HR generalist/ business partner roles to specialist roles in areas such as Reward, Talent Management and Learning and development.
What are examples of roles I might go into?
As Reward Analyst in Group Reward, you would get an overview of the processes that go behind reward structures and plans.
You would work with the Group Reward team to deliver projects covering a broad range of topics, from employment law, international secondments, pensions, incentives and payroll. This role will give a good grounding both for a generalist career as well as reward specialist. To be considered, it would be an advantage to have maths at 'A' Level/ international baccalaureate, an eye for detail, appreciation for accounts, as well as an accounting/tax background. Work experience and qualifications in HR is an advantage but not a necessity. This is the ideal role to shift from finance into HR.
Or, you could join the Organisational and Talent Development Team in Malaysia. This role supports the business transformation agenda by implementing talent programmes and driving development plans. You would manage the PRUuniversity curriculum, including design, delivery and supplier relationships. Working closely with senior managers, you would also coach high potentials, create development plans and facilitate teambuilding sessions.
Alternatively, you could take on a role as an HR generalist in one of our businesses. This means helping to identify priorities for HR activity to drive and support business performance. So, you would work with other HR teams (e.g. Reward, Resourcing & Development) to develop and deliver solutions that are right for the business units and the Group.
