Communications

The way we communicate with both our own people and the outside world is absolutely essential to our success. Join Group Communications, and you will be part of the team responsible for shaping the Group's reputation among its key stakeholders, including investors, governments, media and, of course, employees.

What are examples of roles I might go into?

You might, for example, be a PR manager, helping to develop and manage the big stories, issues and campaigns that affect us. You'll work closely with senior management, the media and our external PR agency, to help us gain positive media coverage. To succeed, you'll need to know what makes the UK media tick and what it takes to manage and execute a successful media campaign. Knowledge of current issues facing Prudential and the financial services sector, as well as the ability to write for a specific media audiences, would be highly desirable.

Or as an internal communications manager, you will work in partnership with business and communications people around the Group to design and deliver an education and engagement programme to ensure our people across the business understand the Group's goals, and work effectively together to achieve them. As such, you will have a background in communications and be used to developing and managing a range of programmes and channels.
